Training Trip
The bobcats are back to training! We have begun our winter training and so far it has been awesome! It all began on the night of the 28th when the Rapking & Howard Family hosted the team for a pasta dinner to kick off our training. The following morning it was time to see who stayed in shape and who did not. The coaching staff was pleased to see 90% of the team returned back in shape! The intense training has continued on with some various dryland training which involved a trip to Lowes for some supplies. With some innovative ideas we have put together a vigorous dryland program during these 10 days of training. This morning the team was surprised when numerous of local parents came together and cooked a breakfast for them after a long challenging practice. Since it is New Years Eve we will rest for the evening.

Closing Time
The Fall 2011 semester has officially come to a close. At 12:00pm today finals were DONE, although most students were done prior to today there were many who hung around campus until this afternoon. I am very proud of each of my student-athletes for putting forth their best efforts in the classroom this semester. By the end of the week grades will be in and the coaches are eager to see how well the team did. Keep posted to hear about our team GPA!
Please have a safe trip home and enjoy the time with family and friends. Keep in shape over the next few days because on December 28th we will be back in action with our Winter Training Trip!

IT WAS TIME TO RELEASE SOME STRESS AND TAKE A BREAK FROM STUDYING...WATER POLO! NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY WERE EXHAUSTED AFTER THIS WORK OUT! "COACH, I AM SO TIRED THAT I AM NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO STAY AWAKE TO STUDY NOW."
Trial and Error
As the semester ends the coaching staff is preparing for Training Trip. With that said, the coaches have been in the water attempting various set ideas for training trip. We have come up with some incredible sets!

BOBCATS WIN
Saturday December 3rd the Bobcats faced Frostburg State and came out with a victory for both the Women and Men! Since Frostburg has a smaller size team it gave us the chance to swim some new and different races. Every athlete had the chance to pick their events for this meet. Frostburg has one of the few short course meters pools in collegiate athletics which was new for some of the athletes and home for others. It was an incredible last meet of the Fall 2011 semester! We had a great time on the bus and on the pool deck. Santa even came to the meet! Assistant Coach Rod Hunte wore his Santa hat and showed his holiday spirit!

We will finish up our final training as the semester comes to a close and the holidays approach.
I am proud to say that I have the BEST team any coach could ever ask for! Thank you to the team for making this first semester an absolutely unbelievable adventure! Keep up the impressive hard work!

Last Meet
The last meet of the Fall 2011 semester is today at 2pm against Frostburg. We will travel there and swim short course meters which is not typical. The coaching are looking forward to a great meet!
