I know it has been a while since I wrote a story and I apologize for this. This semester we can all agree that is was very busy. Tomorrow is the last day of finals and everyone will head our for 16 days at home before we arrive back on campus and on the bus headed to Tampa, Florida.
Thus far, this season has been a remarkable one. We spent 3 days in Pittsburgh at the University competing in our mid season meet. For the meet we decided to do a two week taper which reflected well on the team. We swam some incredible swims and are in the perfect spot we need to be in. A few swimmers got sick the week of the meet which was crummy but there is nothing you can do about that. I do wonder what they could of done if there were completely healthy? All in all the team and coaches really enjoyed this meet and plan to attend the meet again next season. One of the highlights of the weekend was the US Gymnastics Team staying in the same hotel that we were in.
As we head home for 16 days please keep in mind that you are expected to return to campus in the same shape you are currently in or better. We leave the night of the 27th and will drive through the night to Tampa, Florida. We will arrive back here on January the 5th for registration on the 6th.
